■ Description of Hall 3

Hall 3 is currently closed for safety reasons. The scale of the hall is overwhelming. It is connected by the second hall in the front and the passage in the back. The fact that this amazing space was built by human power alone will leave visitors speechless.

Using a huge amount of megaliths and lava, a group of valuable works by “Takahashi Rakuzan” is placed in the “Deep Mountain Valley”, which is expressed by delicate modeling techniques. This entire large space is a magnificent work of Buddhist art by its founder, Tokuzo Yamada.

In the deepest part of this huge hall, which can be called the hidden protagonist of the cave Kannon, the scenery of “Zegon no Fudo Falls” that exists in Tokuzo’s hometown of Niigata Prefecture was consistently designed to connect to the rock garden of the neighboring “Tokumeien”.
