41 Shotoku Taishi
A representative figure in Japan history. He was a member of the imperial family, politicians, and thinkers of the Asuka period, and is considered a symbol of Japan culture and peace. Since ancient times, he has been looked up to as the incarnation of Kannon.
In folk beliefs, it is the god of prayer for the safety of craftsmen. This work by RAKUZAN was also enshrined at the time of the construction of the cave in the hope of the safety of the craftsmen.
